| « The Sun article | No t-shirt, no flight » |
Well, I've been talking to the nice people at "The Sun" about it. 1 reporter on saturday, and 1 today. Had a Sun photographer come out today to take a few pictures of me in the t-shirt as well. (BTW, he had some interesting stories to tell about other stuff as well). Wasn't looking the best either, since I only got home at 3 in the morning.
The 2nd reporter I just chatted to is just trying to get confirmation from the airport before going forward with the article.
I also did fire off an e-mail to BA reporting the incident and trying to find out about their policy. If they respond I'll let you all know.
I'll either scan in or post a link if it gets published.
For those seeking to confirm the story, I was travelling with 5 work colleagues. 2 of whom are unwilling to corroborate the story publicly, as understandably they are worried about going on a flight "black list" for extra "attention" at security. One's in Ibiza on holiday's so is out of contact(back in a week). One had just started work a week before, so I haven't got her out of work contact details.
The other is more than happy to tell the story to anyone who'll listen. So again, if you're a reporter, happy to put you in touch with him if you need verification, of hear his version of events. Just don't want to make his details publicly available.
EDIT: Just got a call from the Sun, they confirmed with the airport the details, so yep, it'll be published tomorrow.
